Hostess in Korčula

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Hostess to join our team and contribute to our tradition of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

– Greet guests as they arrive and manage the seating arrangement.
– Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
– Maintain an accurate and organized reservation system.
– Inform guests about wait times and manage the waiting list.
– Assist in coordinating the flow of guests within the dining area.
– Answer phone calls and handle reservations or queries.
– Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hostess area.
– Communicate with restaurant staff regarding guest requirements and special requests.
– Ensure guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their dining experience.
– Provide assistance with other front-of-house duties as needed.

Requirements:

– Proven work experience as a Hostess or similar role in the hospitality industry.
– Hands-on experience with reservation management systems and POS software.
– Excellent customer service skills.
– Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
– Positive attitude and team spirit.
– Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
– High school diploma; hospitality training is a plus.
